Lasnamäe Centrum opens one of Tallinn’s most powerful electric car chargers

Lasnamäe Centrum’s new charging area, built by Enefit, includes a total of eight charging points with a total capacity of 1,280 kW. The chargers, with a capacity of up to 240 kW, allow electric car batteries to be charged significantly faster than before and meet the growing demand for high-capacity public charging infrastructure.

“Lasnamäe Centrum’s 750-space parking lot now has a modern and fast charging option, which makes visiting the center much more convenient and supports our goal of providing the best visitor experience for customers,” said Reimo Simsalu, Head of Real Estate and Business Development at Capfield OÜ.

“Enefit’s goal is to make charging electric cars as convenient and accessible as possible for people, both close to home, at work and on the road. That’s why we are developing the charging network in places where people move around on a daily basis and where the demand for charging is highest. Lasnamäe Centrum is a very good location for this,” said Robert Kutsar, Head of Charging Infrastructure and Partnerships at Enefit.

“Lasnamäe Centrum is currently being renovated and developed in several directions at once,” added Reimo Simsalu. “In addition to the new electric car chargers outside, the center will also be home to new stores of two well-known brands – Sinsay and Skechers. Already in June, we will open a renovated NS King store and an expanded Euronics store with a new concept.”
